SNAPSHOTS OF SEA AND VINES. THE SCENT OF CHERRIES AND ORANGE BLOSSOM.

From Els Poblets to Calp, the sea laps at this district, which lies along the north of the Costa Blanca and contains a condensed microcosm of marvels: seascapes, rice paddies, mountains and vineyards. Cherries with their own designation of origin.

Nature parks, cliffs and a thousand valleys. Sleepy inland villages. Coastal towns, a patchwork of baaches, crags and Mediterranean forest.

The sand here is in a league of its own: soft, warm and golden. So fine it slips through your fingers, as slippery and elusive as water.

This is a land of gourmet cuisine, with three Michelin stars awarded to the Quique Dacosta restaurant in Denia, and unique local produce such as Denia prawns, sweet wine, seafood dishes such as suquet de peix fish soup, and the sweet, inland coca flatbreads.
